Dr. Kanning grew up in Lawson, Missouri, so returning home and serving his community was something he was always passionate about.
After traveling the country and globe as an Air Force dentist, Dr. Kanning specialized in orthodontics so he could bring smiles back to the community he loves.

Two Decades of Smile Expertise
To consistently deliver the quality smiles his patients deserve, Dr. Kanning had to train — A LOT.
After completing four years of dental school, Dr. Kanning cut his teeth as a dentist in the Air Force before earning his master’s degree in orthodontics in 2004.
To stay on top of his game, he remains active in the Missouri dental community, serving as Vice President or Past-President at various, very serious-sounding orthodontic organizations in and around Kansas City.
