As our practice has grown alongside those innovations, we’ve made the decision to bring all patient care together at our main Kanning Orthodontics office in Kansas City. This change allows us to continue providing the same personalized care our patients expect while making the most of the technology and resources available today under one roof.
Why We Opened the Office in the Historic Downtown Liberty Community
Our office in the square began with a very specific purpose. When construction on the I-35 bridge created travel challenges for many local families, we opened a second location at 17 N. Water Street, Liberty, MO 64068, to make orthodontic appointments more convenient for patients on that side of town.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve patients in the Historic Downtown Liberty square community and appreciate everyone who visited us there. However, the bridge project was completed sooner than expected, and shortly afterward, the COVID-19 pandemic changed the way many healthcare practices operated. Although our new office remained open as a smaller satellite office, the way we delivered orthodontic care continued to change over the years.
Technology Has Changed Orthodontic Care
Orthodontic treatment today looks much different than it did when our now-satellite office first opened.
Innovations like LightForce custom braces allow us to create highly personalized treatment plans with exceptional precision. Remote monitoring technology also gives us the ability to keep track of treatment progress between appointments, helping many patients spend less time in the office without sacrificing the quality of their care.
These advancements have changed what patients need from an orthodontic practice. Many appointments can now be completed more efficiently, and treatment can be monitored in ways that simply weren’t possible a few years ago.
As a result, maintaining two office locations is no longer necessary to provide the level of convenience and personalized care our patients deserve.
No Changes In Care
Even though our satellite office is closing, Kanning Orthodontics patients can expect the same friendly team, the same personalized treatment, and the same commitment to outstanding orthodontic care they have always received.
Bringing all patient care together in one location allows us to focus our time, technology, and resources in a single office, creating an even better experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
For many of our patients, this transition will feel seamless. Care has already been centered at our main office, and this update simply reflects the way our practice has been serving families in recent years.
