We’re proud to be able to feature some of those artists in our office. It’s our goal for this office to use it as a “gallery” for these amazing area artists!
For the next three months or so, we are proud to feature Holly Ann Schenk (see her work here). Holly is a talented area artist and we are excited to have her work in the office.
A little bit about Holly:
Holly Ann Schenk grew up in Nebraska, where she received both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Art Education. She moved to Kansas City in 1982, and worked at Hallmark Cards as an art director for twelve years. Today, she divides her time between teaching and creating her own artwork.
Through her teaching and directing experiences, she has learned many things about all different kinds of art and has learned how to create in many different media. She loves to use color in a strong way and enjoys when the viewer can see things from her viewpoint.
Painting and pastels are Holly’s favorites, but she also ventures into drawing, collage, photography, fine crafts, calligraphy, murals, and caricatures.
